We are seeking a bar supervisor to join our team here at The Bankers Cat, who has a passion for great beer, wine, spirits and hospitality, a keen eye for detail and a mature, professional approach to their work.
Previous experience at a supervisory level in quality-driven, busy venues would be preferable but not necessary. Candidates will hopefully be looking for a position where they can grow and take the next step on your career ladder and become part of our ever growing portfolio of excellent venues.
While relevant experience is definitely a bonus, what matters most to us is attitude and enthusiasm - we want people with personality and presence who can guide and inspire the team around them and deliver consistently great experiences to our guests.
The working environment across all of our sites is energetic and vibrant so we are looking for an experienced, dynamic candidate who can who can work alongside senior management and subordinates alike to bring positivity, creativity and professionalism to the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the bar team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Oversee the preparation and presentation of beverages, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
  • Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and controlling costs effectively.
  • Engage with guests & build a repertoire.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a bar management role or similar position within the hospitality industry.
  • Confident in your ability to manage a team & communicate effectively.
  • Ability to work in a busy environment and keep calm and collected under pressure.
  • A knowledge of how a cellar functions.
  • Great customer facing skills.

Pay: From £12.80 per hour
