JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Bar supervisor to over see the daily operations of our bar. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and culinary arts, with a passion for delivering exceptional service. As the Bar supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising a small number of staff, ensuring food safety standards are met, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our hotel guests and general trade

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in a bar supervisor role or similar supervisory position within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong knowledge of culinary practices, food safety standards, and beverage management.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-focused approach.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
  • Previous experience in a hotel or high-volume establishment is advantageous.
  • A passion for food preparation and production, along with a keen eye for detail in presentation.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and lead the bar team, ensuring high standards of service and hospitality are maintained.
  • Oversee food preparation and production in accordance with health and safety regulations.
  • Manage stock levels of the bar ensuring the bar is prepped in line with events going on in and around the city, including controlling stock to minimise waste.
  • Help and support bar manager and other supervisors in training and mentoring staff on food safety practices and customer service excellence.
  • Ensure compliance with all licensing laws and regulations related to alcohol service.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints effectively to maintain a positive environment.
  • Assist and support any special events or promotions within the bar area.
