JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a friendly and organized Bar / Host to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring an exceptional dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills, a passion for guest services, and the ability to manage reservations and seating efficiently.

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in guest services or customer service roles is preferred, particularly in a restaurant or hotel setting.
  • Familiarity with POS systems is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact positively with guests and team members.
  • A background in food service or hospitality is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Must possess a friendly demeanor and a willingness to help others, ensuring every guest feels valued during their visit.

Responsibilities
  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables.
  • Manage the reservation system and ensure timely seating for guests.
  • Provide information about the menu, specials, and restaurant policies.
  • Maintain an organized waitlist during busy periods and communicate wait times effectively.
  • Assist with customer inquiries and resolve any issues that arise with professionalism.
  • Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
  • Uphold high standards of hospitality and guest service at all times.
  • Handle phone calls with proper phone etiquette, answering questions and taking reservations as needed.
