OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender and catering assistant. We have a small onsite coffee shop and a members social club. We provide food for the community and to our members so experience in catering is essential as part of the job will be working on both sides. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, serving customers, and ensuring that the bar area is well-maintained and compliant with food safety standards.

SKILLS

Experience in catering and bar work

• Strong hospitality skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Proficiency in serving techniques and beverage preparation.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating bills.
• Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers with precision and flair.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.

• Engage with customers, providing excellent service while taking orders and making recommendations.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, utilising basic math skills for processing payments.
• Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods.
