Job Description Serve food and beverages to the highest standards, ensuring consistency and excellence at all times. Possess complete knowledge of all menus — including St James Bar, Afternoon Tea, Rose Lounge, and Wild Honey St James. Deliver attentive and professional service, anticipating guests’ needs and ensuring their comfort throughout their visit. Support the smooth operation of the St James Bar alongside your colleagues, promoting a service of excellence. Accurately process guest checks on the Micros system and maintain responsibility for stock and cash handling. Maintain impeccable cleanliness and presentation of the bar area and report any maintenance needs promptly. Support training initiatives to enhance team product knowledge and operational standards. Attend pre-service briefings, training sessions, and departmental meetings, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement. Uphold all licensing, food safety, health & safety, and fire regulations. Demonstrate flexibility by supporting other areas of the hotel when required. Qualifications You are passionate about mixology and creating unforgettable guest experiences. You have solid experience in a luxury or high-end bar environment. You are confident using Micros and have strong knowledge of food and beverage service. You are attentive, professional, and take pride in presenting yourself and your workspace impeccably.
