We are a busy golf club which includes members, visiting golfers, societies and groups coming to play on a daily basis. We are a very friendly club and there is a real family feel with all the members and within the club so we are looking for a hard working person but also someone who will fit well into the team, with a friendly and sociable personality.
Our menu is designed for hungry golfers. Wholesome British favorites, home-cooked and served to perfection by our friendly bar staff. Our bacon sandwiches and other golfer’s favorite bar snacks are legendary, and generous in size, or for the bigger appetite they join us for a Lunch, a Main Meal or a three course Sunday lunch with friends. We also do a selection of baguettes and sandwiches, light bites and desserts. We will also tempt customers with a range of home-made cakes and bakes, with a range of Teas and Specialty Coffees. We offer a wide variety of menu choices for functions, celebrations, parties and other special events.
We’re looking for an experienced, highly motivated server to join our team at our popular golf club. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing customers with a friendly and engaging experience and will work as part of a team to ensure that we are delivering outstanding service. The successful candidate has a passion for customer service, good bar and waiting skills and making delicious coffee drinks as well as providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Serve food and beverages to customers at the bar.
• Be polite, friendly, and attentive to customers.
• Sell items from the bar.
• Keep guests informed about daily specials.
• Follow all health department, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Greet customers when they enter the restaurant.
• Answer questions about the menu.
• Schedule shifts in accordance with the needs of the restaurant.
• Keep track of wine, beer, and cocktail inventory.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.50-£13.25 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
