Description Reports To: Food & Beverage Director / Kitchen Manager / Shift Lead Employment Type: Part-Time Position Summary We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, and team-oriented Busser / Food Runner / Prep Cook to support both front-of-house and back-of-house operations. This hybrid role is essential to maintaining smooth service, ensuring food is delivered promptly and accurately, keeping dining areas clean, and assisting with basic food preparation. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong attention to detail, and works well as part of a team. Key Responsibilities Busser Duties Clear tables quickly and efficiently Maintain the cleanliness of the dining room Assist servers with guest needs as directed Restock bar & service supplies Assist with opening and closing side work Food Runner Duties Deliver food from kitchen to guests in a timely and accurate manner Ensure plates are presented properly and match ticket orders Communicate effectively with kitchen and service staff Assist in expediting orders during busy shifts Prep Cook Duties Prepare ingredients (chopping vegetables, portioning proteins, preparing sauces) Follow recipes and kitchen standards precisely Maintain cleanliness and organization of prep areas Label and store food according to health and safety standards Assist line cooks during peak service times Qualifications Previous restaurant experience preferred but not required Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to multitask and stay organized under pressure Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Skills & Attributes Positive attitude and strong work ethic Dependable and punctual Detail-oriented Ability to follow instructions carefully Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly wage + tips (where applicable) Employee meal discounts Supportive team environment
