Description As our Barback, you will assist bars with stocking, monitor trash, fill ice, other general cleaning duties. To succeed in this position, you should have an engaging and friendly personality, be efficient, observant, and knowledgeable. This position is for the 2026 season, start dates range during Month of May, Memorial Day weekend through the summer availability required. This position may require flexible scheduling availability Requirements Job Requirements: Be readily available and approachable for all guests while always extending professionalism Know local health and safety codes and regulations that apply to the property Ensure the bar service space remains well-stocked at all times Cleaning and sanitizing table, countertops, and floors after each service Empty garbage areas throughout restaurant Job Qualifications: Highly motivated team player with strong initiative and desire for achievement Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary Ability to work well in stressful situations Readily available and approachable for all guests while providing excellent guest service The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Island Hospitality is unable to guarantee a specific number of work hours per week.
