Doing all these things well (and other reasonable duties as requested) is essential for Barbacks – to get it right for our guests and our business every time. Responsibilities: Your journey with us Supporting bartenders by maintaining stock levels of beverages, garnishes, glassware, and bar tools throughout service. Ensuring cleanliness and organization of the bar area, storage spaces, and back bar at all times. Assisting with preparation tasks such as cutting garnishes, restocking ice, and setting up stations before service. Proactively learning about bar operations, beverage offerings, and service standards to better assist the team. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of company Food & Beverage Safety Programs within your area of responsibility, as well as all local, state, and federal regulations. Reporting maintenance or equipment issues immediately to appropriate personnel (management or maintenance). Demonstrating a positive, professional attitude, grooming, and body language at all times. Attending departmental meetings and training sessions as required to stay informed and aligned. Carrying out other duties as required by the Bar or F&B Management team. Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a luxury hotel or upscale bar environment. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels. Detail-oriented with a passion for delivering excellence in guest service. Knowledge of overall hotel operations is beneficial to understand your role in the wider guest experience.
