Job Description:
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Barber to join our team at KJ Barbershop. The ideal candidate will be proficient in a wide range of barbering services, including haircuts, beard trims, shaves, and styling. They should have a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills to provide exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of barbering services, including haircuts, beard trims, shaves, and styling, according to client preferences and style trends.
  • Consult with clients to understand their grooming needs and recommend suitable hairstyles
  • Maintain sanitation, cleanliness and organisation of workstations, equipment, and the store to ensure a hygienic environment for clients.
  • Stay updated on current hairstyle trends and techniques to provide innovative and personalised services.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through outstanding customer service and attention to detail.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven 1+ year experience as a Barber, with a strong portfolio showcasing your expertise.
  • Proficiency in barbering techniques and styles, including fades, tapers, and classic cuts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and interact with clients including kids, in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional grooming services.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high quality.
  • Straight Razor skills are preferred
