ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Provide a full range of barbering services, including traditional and modern haircuts, beard trims, hot towel shaves, and grooming consultations.
• Welcome clients in a friendly, professional, and tactful manner, ensuring an excellent customer experience.
• Conduct thorough consultations to understand clients’ preferences and recommend suitable styles or services.
• Stay updated on trends in men’s grooming, including haircuts, beard designs, and grooming products.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation and ensure tools are sterilized as per salon policies and hygiene standards.
• Use professional discretion and tact while communicating with clients, avoiding personal discussions or opinions.
• Follow the “It’s not about you, it’s all about them” philosophy, ensuring the client feels valued and attended to.
• Always communicate in English, avoiding native languages to ensure inclusivity and professionalism.
• Adhere to time management by performing services within the allocated time while maintaining quality.
• Recommend and sell grooming products to clients based on their needs and preferences.
• Encourage clients to book their next appointment and notify the reception of the same.
• Maintain accurate records of clients’ preferences, including haircut styles and products used, to ensure consistency during future visits.
• Actively promote salon services, promotions, and loyalty programs to enhance sales and client retention.
• Maintain a strong presence on social media, showcasing your expertise and aligning with salon branding to enhance visibility and attract new clients.
• Attend technical training sessions, barbering seminars, and stay up to date with innovations in grooming products, tools, and techniques.
• Support inventory management by ensuring appropriate use of products and assisting with purchase orders as needed.
• Be punctual, maintain flexibility with schedules, and assist in covering shifts when required.
• Report any client or staff concerns to management promptly.
• Uphold confidentiality and professional ethics, adhering to salon policies and procedures.
• Ensure you read the Standard Operations Manual, have a thorough understanding of and adhere to the rules and regulations
• Perform any additional duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Barber.
• Formal training in barbering or grooming; certification is a plus.
• Knowledge of contemporary and classic barbering techniques.
• Availability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform services.
• Strong understanding of men’s grooming products and tools.
