Overview Assesses nutritional needs and provides nutrition services to bariatric patients. Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS • Registered Dietitians registered prior to January 1, 2024: Bachelor’s degree, no substitutions. • Registered Dietitians registered after January 1, 2024: Master’s degree, no substitutions. • At least one (1) year of experience in a related field. COMPETENCIES • Research skills. • Detail oriented. • Planning skills. • Customer/client orientation. • Interpersonal skills. • Oral and written communication skills. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS • Must possess a valid driver's license with a driving history verified through a motor vehicle report that meets requirements for Cherokee Nation underwriting rating. • Must be a Registered Dietitian (RD) and possess and maintain a license (LD) from the Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision. • Must possess and maintain cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification. • Certified Specialist in Obesity and Weight Management (CSOWM) preferred. OTHER REQUIREMENTS • The employee must not be and will not be under sanction by the United States Department of Health and Human Services Office of the Inspector General (OIG) or by the General Services Administration (GSA) or listed on the OIG's Cumulative Sanction Report, or the GSA's List of Excluded Providers, or listed on the OIG's List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE). • Must meet and maintain pre-employment and periodic background investigation and adjudication for child care.
