Medical Staff in the Canberra Health Services enjoy excellent conditions, and our Enterprise Agreement is available at: ACTPS Medical Practitioners Enterprise Agreement 2023 - 2026 This position is with the Department of Bariatric Medicine (DBM), a multidisciplinary team which sits within the Division of Medicine and is located at Belconnen Community Health Centre. The team provide medically led clinic-based multidisciplinary care for people living with severe obesity and it’s complications, including support for provision of available public funded bariatric surgery. To be eligible for the position you must be in a formal GP training program. This position has accreditation as extended skills training with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Work hours are within standard weekday hours, and there is no overtime or on-call associated with this position. There is some scope for negotiation of the hours worked within the operational requirements of the unit. Prior to commencement, the successful candidates will be required to: • Undergo a pre-employment National Police Check • Comply with Canberra Health Services Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination policy For more information regarding the position see the Position Description.
