Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled Barista to join our team at a bustling cafe in the heart of the city. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating delicious coffee beverages and Latte Art.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, speciality drinks and latte art
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, including cleaning coffee machines and equipment
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines
- Assist in food preparation tasks as needed
- Provide friendly and prompt customer service, addressing customer queries and concerns
- Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately
Qualifications:
- Proven experience working as a Barista or in a similar role
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Knowledge of food safety practices and hygiene standards
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members
