JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and customer service, ensuring that every customer has a delightful experience. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items while maintaining a clean and organised workspace. This is a weekend based roll, with some additonal shifts in the week.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous barista experience is essential.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable, Level 2 Food Hygiene, Allergen Trained
  • Strong serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent time management abilities to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items according to established recipes and standards.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in all areas of the café.
  • Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any queries or concerns.
  • Operate coffee machines and other equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Assist in food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
  • Maintain inventory levels of supplies and communicate any shortages to management.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including basic math calculations for change.
  • Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours.
