Cafe Ami VGH is a locally owned and operated coffee shop providing coffee and food services to the hospital staff, patients and visitors, weekdays from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. and weekends from 5:30am - 9pm.
We have a strong and diverse team and are looking to add a full-time barista to our team with the opportunity for growth to help close the store working from 2:30-11pm on weekdays and 12:30-9pm on weekends.

Responsibilities:

• Serving customers with specialty beverages and a variety of tasty food and treats,
• Cashiering & customer service
• General cleaning
• Possibility of light food prep (sandwiches, wraps, salads)

Requirements & Assets

• Friendly, positive “can do” attitude
• Reliable
• Willingness to learn
• Excellent customer service
• Ability to work well with other individuals and alone when needed.
• Previous food preparation experience is an asset (i.e. quick service, restaurant, or grocery store deli)*
• Barista experience*
• FoodSafe Certification or equivalent*
