We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while delivering exceptional service and high-quality beverages. Your expertise in coffee preparation and customer interaction will enhance the overall café experience, making each visit memorable.

SKILLS

• Proven experience as a Barista or in a similar role within the food service or retail industry.
• Strong customer service skills with an ability to engage positively with customers.
• Familiarity with Aloha POS or Micros POS systems is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices related to food preparation and handling.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining individual responsibilities.

  Pay: $17.20-$18.00 per hour
  Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week

• Operate the TOAST POS or Micros POS systems for order processing and payment transactions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
• Engage with customers to provide excellent customer service, taking orders accurately and efficiently.
• Handle cash transactions responsibly, ensuring accurate cash handling and basic math calculations.
• Assist in food preparation and serving as needed, adhering to food handling guidelines.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service delivery.
• Promote menu items and upsell products to enhance sales opportunities.
