JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a friendly and motivated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. You will be responsible for ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining cleanliness, and efficiently handling cash transactions.

EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience in the food industry or customer service is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with cash handling, cashiering, and basic math skills is essential for accurate transaction processing.
• Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of food handling practices is a plus but can be learned on the job.
• A passion for coffee and an eagerness to learn about different brewing techniques will enhance your success in this role.

• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and answering questions about menu items.
• Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Maintain cleanliness of the coffee shop, including workstations, dining areas, and equipment.
• Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies as needed and reporting any shortages to management.
• Follow food handling and safety guidelines to ensure the quality and safety of all food and beverage items served.
• Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment while managing time effectively during peak hours.
