Queenies was established in 2014, as an independent, urban, brunch-style eatery; focusing on fresh food and priding ourselves on great service. We currently have restaurants in both Billericay and Chelmsford, with a third location pending.

OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic person to join our team. As a Barista/Bartender, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest services, ensuring that each dining experience is memorable. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages. Your ability to manage time effectively and engage with guests will contribute significantly to our restaurant’s success.

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience in a similar role within the restaurant industry is preferred but not essential.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods.
• Basic maths skills for handling transactions and processing payments accurately.
• Knowledge of food safety practices is essential to maintain hygiene standards.
• Excellent guest service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
• A passion for culinary arts and willingness to learn about menu items and preparation methods.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.

• Manage cash handling procedures accurately during transactions.
