Responsibilities

THE ROLE

As Master Barista, you will be the coffee expert at Brew Garden, responsible for maintaining high standards in coffee preparation, training the team, and ensuring every customer enjoys a perfect cup of coffee. This is a hands-on role for a seasoned barista who loves sharing their knowledge and passion for coffee with others.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coffee Preparation and Quality Control
  • Prepare and serve consistently high-quality coffee, ensuring exceptional taste and presentation.
  • Calibrate and maintain equipment to ensure consistent brewing standards throughout the day.
  • Continuously refine and improve the coffee menu, introducing seasonal and signature beverages.
  • Training and Mentorship
  • Train and mentor baristas on brewing techniques, latte art, customer service, and operational efficiency.
  • Conduct regular team workshops and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Customer Engagement
  • Act as the face of Brew Garden’s coffee expertise, engaging with customers and sharing your passion for coffee.
  • Handle customer inquiries about coffee, brewing methods, and our menu offerings.
  • Operational Excellence
  • Monitor and maintain all coffee-making equipment, ensuring it is clean, serviced, and in excellent working condition.
  • Support the management team in ensuring smooth daily operations and maintaining a clean, organized workspace.
  • Inventory and Ordering
  • Manage coffee stock levels, ensuring fresh, high-quality beans are always available.
  • Assist in sourcing new beans, blends, and equipment as needed.
  • Innovation and Standards
  • Develop and introduce new coffee recipes, specials, and brewing techniques to enhance the customer experience.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, maintaining a clean and professional work environment.
