JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a passionate and energetic Barista to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of coffee, tea and blended beverages, as well as providing exceptional customer service. We’re looking for someone that is passionate about coffee or tea and that can create a welcoming environment for our customers.

SKILLS

• Strong knowledge of coffee and brewing techniques.
• Proficient in basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing using a POS system.
• Excellent communication skills and welcoming customers by determining their coffee interests while educating them by presenting/explaining the drink menu; answering questions based on the drink and food menu.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under stress while maintaining attention to detail.
• Able to work as a team and communicate effectively.

• Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
• Operate the POS system efficiently for processing orders and handling cash transactions.
• Operate coffee equipment: espresso machine, grinder & drip machine.
• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Monitor inventory levels beverage supplies, re-stocking throughout the day & disposing of garbage and cardboard.
• Serving food and drinks to customers tables.
