Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and preparing delicious coffee and other beverages. If you have a passion for coffee, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and have excellent customer service skills, we would love to hear from you.
Duties:
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks
-Prepare food such as sandwich, bowl, etc
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Operate espresso machines and other coffee-making equipment
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area
- Maintain stock of coffee beans, syrups, milk, and other supplies
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving any issues or complaints
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Barista or in the food industry is preferred but not required
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing
- Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
