Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

At AD Café, mornings begin with artisanal coffee and pastries, while evenings evolve into a wine and cocktail lounge with a curated menu. As Barista & Café Service, you will not only prepare exceptional espresso drinks and beverages but also serve pastries and light fare, care for each table, and create a warm, elevated guest experience throughout the day.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Prepare and serve specialty coffees, teas, and a variety of hot and cold beverages (including alcoholic) to AD Café’s standards
  • Assist with food preparation, including pastries and light snacks, ensuring freshness and quality.
  • Serve pastries, café fare, sandwiches and light dishes, and support food service with precision and care
  • Deliver complete service: guest welcome, table setup, food and beverage service, and table clearing
  • Provide excellent customer service by taking orders accurately and efficiently, while engaging with customers in a friendly manner.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization and readiness of the café stations, tables, and bar areas to adhere to food and safety standards
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment and support each other during peak hours for seamless service.
  • Engage guests with attentiveness, warmth, and professionalism
  • Support the daily transition of AD Café from a morning café to an evening wine and cocktail lounge
  • Monitor stock levels and support inventory management
  • Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality.
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards
