JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in the food industry or food service preferred
• Proficiency in basic math for cash handling, and ringing up items accurately
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
• Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques is a plus
• Familiarity with operating a cash register or POS system is beneficial
• Being bilingual in Chinese (especially Mandarin) is preferred

  Pay: $16.66 - $20.00 per hour
  Expected hours: 15 – 35 per week

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages
• Operate espresso machines and other equipment to make quality drinks
• Maintain cleanliness of the store (wipe, mop)
• Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Handle cash transactions and operate the POS system
• Pack cakes, croissants, and mochis based on customers’ orders
• Assist in stocking and organizing inventory
• Provide friendly and attentive customer service
• Depending on shift, open and/or close
• Other duties as needed. As a small shop, we all try to help each other to get things done.
