JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized café environment. Your expertise in coffee preparation and food handling will contribute to an enjoyable experience for our guests.

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous barista experience or coffee industry knowledge is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse clientele.
• Familiarity with food safety practices and food preparation techniques.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Experience with POS systems (Toast) is a plus but not mandatory.

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages and food items according to established recipes and standards.
• Operate the Toast POS system efficiently for order processing and cash handling.
• Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
• Assist in inventory management, including restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness.
• Demonstrate time management skills to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and enhance overall customer satisfaction.
