OVERVIEW

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Opening/Morning only Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will make hand crafted beverages, sandwiches, and pastries while maintaining a clean work and environment and providing excellent customer service to all our guest.

REQUIREMENTS

• On time and ready to work for early morning shifts
• Previous experience in the food industry or retail environment is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
• Familiarity with POS systems; experience with POS is a plus.
• Knowledge of food safety practices is essential.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A team-oriented mindset with a willingness to help others as needed.

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for order processing and cash handling.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations at all times.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of supplies and ingredients.
• Promote sales through effective communication about menu items and special promotions.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods.
