JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Coffee Shop Assistant to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee and customer service, ensuring that every customer has a good experience. This role involves a variety of tasks, from preparing beverages to maintaining cleanliness in the shop, all while adhering to food safety standards. We are looking for Thursday and Friday only some overtime maybe available. Ideally suitable for someone based locall.

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous barista experience is preferred but not essential; willingness to learn is key. Hospitality experience is require.
• Understanding of food safety practices is essential to maintain high hygiene standards.
• Strong serving skills with an emphasis on customer satisfaction.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
• Excellent time management abilities to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• A friendly disposition with strong communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members.
• This role is suited to someone based locally.
• We have a vacancy for Thursday and Fridays 8am -2pm some overtime maybe available depending on rotas

• Prepare and serve a range of coffee and tea beverages with precision and care.
• Assist with food preparation, ensuring all items are fresh and presented well.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee shop, including tables, counters, and equipment.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any queries or concerns.
• Uphold food safety standards in compliance with health regulations.
• Handle cash transactions and perform basic math calculations for order totals.
• Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy periods.
