Description What is Yummi Joy? Born out of Austin's Iconic 30+ year old toy store Toy Joy, Yummi Joy is a vegan friendly Espresso Bar, Ice "Cream", and confectionary shop. We make our own fudge in house, and proudly serve Gati's Vegan Ice Cream made here in Austin (you seriously wont believe how delicious it is). We exclusively brew Little City Coffee (another Austin Native), create milkshakes and sodas as well as offer a wide variety of nostalgic and international candy. Pay starts at $14/hour + Tips Daily Duties include: Provide excellent customer service to all that walk in, greeting each person individually and making eye contact. Coffee and ice cream prep and serving + menu creation Daily equipment maintenance, facility cleanliness & health code compliance Stocking the shelves and managing FIFO Requirements FOH coffee, confectionary or food experience. Love and knowledge of candy, coffee, confections - vegan knowledge a plus! Artistic skills, merchandising and creativity. Possess a cheery and positive disposition. Work and communicate well with all staff. Uphold respect for yourself, fellow co-workers and customers. Be able to lift and maneuver fixtures and product as necessary, ability to work majority of 8 Hr shift on your feet. 40 hours of your dedicated time.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service and prepare coffee and ice cream. Maintain equipment, cleanliness, and manage inventory.
