We are seeking a passionate and customer-focused Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the coffee industry and a strong commitment to providing exceptional service. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, maintaining a clean and inviting café environment, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous barista or coffee experience is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and positive attitude.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations.
• Experience in food service or the food industry is advantageous.
• Familiarity with food preparation techniques and food safety practices is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.

  Pay: £12.21-£14.35 per hour
  Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other menu items with precision and care.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Maintain cleanliness in the café area, including food preparation stations, dining areas, and equipment.
• Adhere to food safety standards and guidelines during food handling and preparation.
• Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, syrups, pastries, and other supplies.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations during peak hours.
• Utilize time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
