Responsibilities

THE ROLE:

We are hiring a skilled, experienced barista to join our full-time team. The ideal candidate has relevant experience working in fast-based, high-volume cafés, thrives in a structured and high-energy environment, and has full, open availability for weekday, weekend, and holiday shifts. This role includes full operational responsibilities, including opening/closing procedures, baking, and deep cleaning duties.

BARISTA DUTIES

  • Execute espresso-based and brewed drinks with speed and consistency according to Drip House standards
  • Steam milk to correct texture and temperature with attention to detail
  • Operate, clean, and maintain grinders, espresso machines, brewers, and all bar equipment
  • Confidently manage multiple drink tickets and prioritize workflow during rushes
  • Maintain a clean and organized station at all times

OPENING / CLOSING DUTIES

  • Complete all opening prep including espresso calibration, restocking, baking, and cleaning
  • Execute closing responsibilities such as deep cleaning, resetting stations, fridge cleanouts, and daily inventory tasks
  • Restock all milk, pastries, paper products, and bar supplies
  • Ensure full café cleanliness: bar, back-of-house, bathrooms, floors, and customer areas
