We are currently seeking a very experienced Barista to join the team in a new venue opening in Dublin city centre. The ideal candidate will also have some experience as a food and beverage server and will be flexible to do both duties.

KEY SKILLS:

• Previous experience as a Barista and Waiter/Waitress in a high-end establishment.
• Proficiency in coffee preparation, including knowledge of espresso machines, brewing methods, and latte art.
• Basic understanding of mixology, cocktail recipes, and food service.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Assist in delivering a seamless dining experience by taking orders, serving food, and providing attentive table service.
• Knowledge of the menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods.
• Coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of food orders.

• Commit to producing and serving only the highest quality coffee and hot drinks to our guests
• Work as part of the wider f and b team whenever needed or requested
• Provide an exceptional experience to guests and always be willing to go above and beyond
• Following directions and examples of senior staff and managers
• Recommending dishes and drinks with full knowledge of product and daily specials
• Knowledge on gift card, voucher and cash payments
• Full use of handhelds for taking orders
• Communicating with customers to resolve complaints and ensure satisfaction
• Relay all issues to manager on duty
• Adhering to checklists provided, keeping the venue clean and orderly at all times
• Running food, drinks and resetting tables
• Up selling products to enhance sales and customers experience
• Following training plans set out by managers
• Answering phones and greeting customers in a timely manner
• Building rapport with the customers, getting to know locals and chatting in a friendly professional manner to guests
