Role Overview:
As a Barista and Team Member, you will play a key role in delivering outstanding customer service while preparing and serving expertly crafted coffee beverages. You will also contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and vibrant space, while sharing your passion for specialty coffee with customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve high-quality espresso-based and brewed coffee beverages, following precise recipes and techniques.
• Operate and maintain coffee equipment, including espresso machines, grinders, and manual brewing devices.
• Engage customers by providing product recommendations, educating them about coffee origins, flavor profiles, and brewing methods.
• Ensure consistency in beverage preparation and presentation to meet company standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the barista station and café area.
• Monitor inventory and assist in restocking supplies as needed.
• Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
• Uphold all health and safety regulations related to food and beverage handling.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a specialty coffee or hospitality role is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of coffee brewing methods (e.g., pour-over, AeroPress, Chemex, etc.) and latte art is a plus. Coffee is Trainable!
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for specialty coffee and a willingness to learn and grow within the industry.
• Eager to learn everything coffee!

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Capability to lift and carry items weighing up to 30 lbs.
