We reside inside the Inn at Cape Kiwanda and are just across the street from Cape Kiwanda State Park, with fantastic ocean views just outside our front doors. We efficiently provide refreshing, artisanal products with authentic service, in a casual and inspiring atmosphere. We offer in-room stay and delivery to the hotel rooms for maximum guest satisfaction. Locals and visitors alike stop in before their first surf session of the day and in between laps at the nearby swimming pool, and we are here waiting with coffee and a beach bun in hand. We let our personalities shine, and we like to have fun. A day in the life... The Barista is accountable for working as a team with other Baristas. You’ll prepare specialty drinks, prepare our house-made food items, accurately process all payments, and always provide excellent customer service. Averages $6.00 to $10.00 more per hour, with tips. Key Accountabilities: ·Prepare and serve coffees, teas, and other specialty beverages per Stimulus Brand standards and within health guidelines. · Prepares, warms, and serves food items such as hot sandwiches, fruit bowls, and pastries. · Count, organize, and balance cash drawer, keeping excellent records and ensuring accuracy. · Set up and break down coffee bar, stations, or retail items. Stock beverage coolers, grab and go items, service ware, and condiments. Stock back-of-house items. Requirements You own this if you have… Obtain a Food Handlers Card Oregon state approved. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment and work cohesively as part of a team. Skills to work independently, effectively manage own time. Availability to work all shifts including weekends and holidays. Skills to read, understand and follow through on verbal and written instructions, ingredients and recipes.
