We are looking for a passionate, friendly new team member to help run the front of house at our coffee shop inside the Wealden Indoor Bowls Club.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and smoothies
- Take customer orders and provide exceptional customer service
- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee shop area
- Follow health and safety guidelines for food handling and preparation
- Assist with food preparation, such as making sandwiches or pastries
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in food service or the retail industry is preferred
- Strong math skills, including the ability to perform retail math calculations and operate a cash register
- Knowledge of basic food handling and safety procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and positive attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
Full barista / coffee training will be provided
