JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Staff to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires a blend of excellent communication skills, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role is preferred but not essential.
  • Barista experience would be desirable but not essential.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable.
  • Basic maths skills for handling transactions and order calculations are necessary.
  • Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively in a busy environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated when required.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to help others are essential traits for success in this role.

Responsibilities
  • Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a friendly and inviting atmosphere.
  • Assist with seating arrangements and manage reservations efficiently.
  • Take food and drink orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen or bar staff.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations during food preparation and service.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, floors, and service stations.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism, providing solutions where possible.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality of food presentation.
  • Perform basic maths calculations for billing and payments accurately.
  • Support team members during busy periods by helping with tasks as needed.
