Description Barista Description The role of a barista/gift shop associate extends beyond just making coffee. At Lori’s Recharged, you will provide a trusted place for joy and support when people need it most. You will provide products and services that nurture, inspire, and comfort. As a Barista/Sales Associate in our Recharged coffee shops, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and engaging from the heart while creating and serving delicious beverages and suggesting the perfect gift and/or snacks. Key Responsibilities: Provide excellent customer service by practicing GUEST standards (Greet, Understand, Educate, Suggest, and Thank) Take guest orders and process payments using the point of sale (POS) Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, such as coffee, tea, and smoothies Prepare food items such as sandwiches, pastries, and salads Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of work area, equipment, and utensils Follow health and safety guidelines when handling food and beverages Maintain inventory of supplies and restock as needed Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations Note: This summary is not exhaustive and may be adjusted to meet operational needs in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Qualifications: Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Regular and predictable attendance is an essential requirement. Attention to detail for accurate order taking and preparation Basic math skills for cash handling and retail transactions Ability to work well in a team setting Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations preferred Physical Demands/Working Conditions: Standing on feet up to eight hours/day Repetitive motion including bending, stooping and reaching Lifting objects, ice, products, boxes up to 30 lbs Working in a small space Our Values We believe in kindness, integrity, and service.
