Signia by Hilton La Cantera is looking for a Barista to join their Henrietta's Market team! Nestled high above the rolling hills and live oaks of the Texas Hill Country, Signia by Hilton La Cantera offers a serene resort experience featuring over 140,000 sq. ft. of event space, a luxury spa, outdoor pools, a kid’s camp, and an 18-hole championship golf course. Guests can savor bold flavors across four restaurants and five bars, with convenient access to premier shopping, dining, Six Flags, and the San Antonio Airport. ***The ideal candidate is a team player with an initiative and guest focused attitude that brings at least (2) years of barista experience with Saturday and Sunday availability. What will I be doing? As a Barista, you would be responsible for greeting and serving guests beverages and/or food in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards: Greet guests and respond to guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner Upsells additional items to enhance profitability Brew, sell, promote and prepare food and beverage items according to established recipes and standards Take guest beverage orders and accurately input orders in appropriate point-of-sale system Maintains cleanliness of work area/outlet Accurately total, process and collect payments from guests to include, but not limited to, using the point-of-sale system, handling money, processing credit and debit cards, making change and processing gift certificates and cards Requisition, stock and rotate products Secure and store all beverages, food and other equipment items Deposit cash drops, secure and balance bank and sign out/in keys What are we looking for?
