JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and customer service, ensuring that every guest enjoys their experience. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and providing exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.

SKILLS

• Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a busy environment.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
• Previous experience in the food industry and operating an espresso machine is very much preferred.
• Familiarity with cashiering procedures and cash handling practices.
• Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with guests.
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety practices is a plus.
• Experience with POS systems is beneficial but training will be provided.
• A willingness to help team members and contribute to a positive work environment.
• Must be proficient and clear in english.

Experience:

• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and espresso beverages according to established recipes and standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including equipment and utensils.
• Assist customers with menu selections, providing recommendations based on their preferences.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations during food preparation and service.
• Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, syrups, milk, and other supplies; assist in ordering when necessary.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
• Engage with customers to create a welcoming atmosphere and foster repeat business.
