JOB SUMMARY:

As a Barista/Cashier, you will be the face of our cafeteria, providing excellent customer service while preparing and serving a variety of coffee drinks and light snacks. You will also be responsible for handling transactions and ensuring the workspace is clean, organized, and inviting.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • 1 Year of experience as a barista or in a customer service role or similar roles is required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive attitude, with a passion for coffee and great customer service.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift items up to 25 lbs.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities
  • Greet customers warmly, take orders, and answer any questions about our menu.
  • Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, tea, and specialty drinks according to standard recipes.
  • Operate coffee-making equipment such as espresso machines and grinders.
  • Accurately process payments using a cash register, handle cash, and issue receipts.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation, including coffee-making equipment and food preparation areas.
  • Restock supplies as needed and notify management of any shortages.
  • Ensure the display of baked goods and other items is always tidy and appealing.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and address any guest concerns with a positive attitude.
  • Uphold health and safety standards by following proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
