We are currently looking to add to our awesome team, specifically people who are available for our opening shifts (10:30am start) after Semptember 2025. With a combination of exceptional customer service and boba techniques, we would love for you to help us make Gong Cha Shawnessy the premier spot for bubble tea loving Calgarians in the SE!

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

Required:

• Ability to learn quickly
• Strong customer service skills including conflict resolution
• Strong team working skills
• Exceptional time management and multitasking skills
• Exceptional attention to details
• Able to carry up to 20kg

Preferred:

• Available to work flexible hours (e.g., mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays)
• Previous experience working in customer service or food industry
• Possess a driver’s licence

As a Kitchen staff:

• Ensure teas and pearls are prepared and available for use throughout the day
• Make prepared toppings such as milk foam, grass jelly, and pudding
• Create a safe and welcoming environment
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness to ensure safety
• Keep stock of inventory
• Open and/or close store

As a Barista:

• Provide exceptional customer service including greeting, taking orders, and processing payments
• Mixing drinks and making egg waffles/croffles
• Create a safe and welcoming environment
• Maintain store cleanliness to ensure wellbeing for patron and staff
• Keep stock of inventory and communicate with kitchen staff regarding tea and prepared toppings level
• Open and/or close store
