JOB OVERVIEW:

As a Boba Tea Barista at kones kreamery, you will be responsible for crafting a variety of delicious boba tea drinks, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring that the store runs smoothly. You will make a variety of beverages, including milk teas, fruit teas, and smoothies, while creating a fun and welcoming atmosphere for customers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Skills: Strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods, lift light to moderate weights (e.g., ingredient containers), and perform repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare Boba Tea Beverages: Make a variety of boba tea drinks such as milk teas, fruit teas, slushes, and smoothies with precision, ensuring the correct ingredients and proper boba-to-drink ratio.
  • Customer Service: Greet customers, take orders, answer questions about menu options, and provide recommendations based on customer preferences. Ensure a positive and friendly experience for every guest.
  • Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the work area, boba tea station, drink preparation areas, and dining space clean and sanitized according to health and safety guidelines.
  • Stock and Organize Supplies: Ensure the store is stocked with necessary ingredients, including tapioca pearls, tea, fruit, syrups, and toppings. Help organize and rotate stock to ensure freshness.
  • Cash Handling: Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to process customer orders and payments. Handle cash, credit card transactions, and provide correct change when necessary.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that every drink meets the store’s standards for taste, presentation, and consistency. Prepare drinks quickly while maintaining a high level of quality.
  • Maintain Inventory: Assist in checking inventory levels and notify the manager when ingredients or supplies need to be reordered.
  • Follow Procedures: Comply with company policies, health regulations, and safety standards, including proper handling of food and drink items.
  • Upsell Products: Recommend additional menu items, such as snacks, extra toppings, or seasonal drinks, to enhance the customer experience and increase sales.
  • Customer Feedback: Address customer concerns or complaints professionally and efficiently, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Team Collaboration: Work effectively with fellow team members to ensure the store operates smoothly, especially during peak hours.
