Krave Coffee is a busy coffee shop on Bury Old Road, Prestwich, open 7 days a week serving top quality:

Rooted in the Prestwich community we provide a modern and welcoming space to work, meet, talk and enjoy great food and coffee.
We are expanding our team and looking for a part-time Barista to join us, working Front of House and serving our customers with a smile.
Working a minimum of 2 shifts a week and (when covering for holidays or absence) a maximum of 5 shifts a week across the 7 days of the week.
Please note that there are no set days so you need to be available to work ANY DAY of the week including weekends.

What you will be doing:

• Greet all customers with a friendly smile and demonstrate excellent customer service.
• Be prepared and ready to suggest and/or describe menu items to customers where needed and upsell products to maximise sales.
• Key orders into the till, take payment, pass food orders through to the kitchen.
• Prepare and serve all coffees, teas, smoothies and other drinks, ensuring orders are prepared quickly, accurately and to a high standard.
• Serve food orders alongside the drinks.
• Maintain a clean, hygienic, and organised work area at all times and follow start-up and shut-down procedures.
• Monitor stock and assist with ordering to ensure appropriate stock levels are maintained.
• We like all our staff to be cross-trained wherever possible so you will be expected to be flexible and willing to assist in other areas when needed including washing-up, cleaning, and food prep if needed - full training and support will be given for these tasks.

What we are looking for:

• Similar previous role in a coffee-shop, restaurant, hotel etc. and Barista-Trained
• Friendly and helpful character with a willingness to learn and take direction from others
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing your work and multi-tasking
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Great communication skills and able to work in a team
• Flexibility to cover extra shifts when needed
