Pelican Grand Beach Resort is seeking to hire an enthusiastic, organically upbeat Barista/Retail Attendant to prepare and serve our customers at our retail shop & coffee shop. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Greeting all guests in an upbeat and professional manner Making coffees/specialty coffees Selling/Upselling items in retail shop Prepare & service ice cream/gelato to guests Replenishment of all food & beverage items. Maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the shop during operating hours (sweeping, sanitizing, wiping down areas on a consistent basis) Assist with monthly inventory, including counting, scanning, restocking, organizing. Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Must be able to consistently provide excellent and engaging customer service Experience in espresso bar service is preferred but not required. 1 – 2 years of retail experience required. Ability to lift up to 20lbs.
