OVERVIEW

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista Server & front of house All Rounder to join our small team.
As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages, maintaining a clean and inviting café environment, and providing outstanding customer service.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the hospitality industry, with a focus on coffee preparation and customer engagement.

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous barista experience or strong background in coffee preparation is preferred.
  • Familiarity with FOH till systems is advantageous.
  • Proven experience in customer service within the hospitality industry is essential.
  • Strong time management.
  • Skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic math skills for cash handling is required.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is necessary for maintaining compliance.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages and drinks according to established recipes and standards.
  • Operate our FOH systems efficiently for order processing and cash handling.
  • Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Tea Room service area, including equipment, workstations, and dining spaces.
  • Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours while maintaining quality standards.
  • Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, supplies, and other FOH products.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately while providing change to customers as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment that fosters teamwork and communication.
