JOB DESCRIPTION

We have a great opportunity for a skilled Barista/ Shift supervisor at our Lodge Moor cafe. We are looking for someone who wants to be proud of what they do and take responsibility for the environment around them.

Position details:

• Work approximately 3 full days a week (21-24hours)
• Flexibility to cover shifts from Monday to Wednesday as well as weekends.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of high-quality coffee beverages, following our established recipes and standards.
• Dialing in: adjust and calibrate coffee grinders to ensure optimal extraction.
• Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
• Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, using our POS system.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area, including coffee machines, equipment, and dining areas.
• Opening and closing duties
• Stock management and ordering

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a barista.
• Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and latte art.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to open and close the cafe on their own.
• A positive and can-do attitude, with a willingness to learn and adapt.
