JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Barista to join our team! In this role, you’ll be responsible for preparing high-quality coffee and fresh smoothies while creating a welcoming and efficient experience for every guest. The ideal candidate is passionate about beverages, enjoys engaging with people, and takes pride in maintaining a clean, well-stocked, and friendly service area.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience as a barista or in a fast-paced food/beverage environment preferred.
• Knowledge of coffee preparation and smoothie ingredients is a plus.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure.
• Flexible schedule and availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Food handler’s certification (if required by local regulations).

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages (espresso, cappuccino, lattes, etc.) with attention to quality and presentation.
• Create fresh smoothies using seasonal fruits, vegetables, and other ingredients according to our menu and guest preferences.
• Greet and interact with customers warmly, taking orders accurately and offering recommendations when needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including beverage stations, blenders, espresso machines, and prep areas.
• Ensure all ingredients and supplies are stocked and rotated properly, following food safety standards.
• Operate the POS system efficiently to process payments and manage orders.
• Handle guest concerns or questions in a friendly and professional manner.
• Assist with opening and closing duties as needed, including cleaning, restocking, and basic equipment maintenance.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth, efficient service throughout the day.
