Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

You will supervise a team in providing exceptional service for all coffee and beverage needs within our workplace café. This includes overseeing daily operations, ensuring high standards of service, and maintaining a welcoming environment. This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE

  • Ensure agreed standards of service are maintained in all areas and guests are treated professionally and courteously at all times.
  • Supervise and train barista staff to ensure consistent quality and service.
  • Manage inventory and order supplies as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the café area.
  • Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages to guests.
  • Prepare and serve hot food items to guests, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
  • Interact with clients and guests to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
  • Use equipment correctly and report any faults to the Catering Manager.
  • Carry out any reasonable request made by a member of management.ABOUT YOU:
  • Must have the right to work in the UK.
  • Previous experience as a barista and in a supervisory role.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise tasks.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with different departments.
  • Friendly and professional demeanor when interacting with guests and clients.
