JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cafe Barista Supervisor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting daily barista operations in a fast-paced cafe environment. Your primary focus will be on providing exceptional customer service, assisting with food preparation, and ensuring the cafe runs smoothly. This position is ideal for individuals with a passion for coffee and a desire to contribute to a positive dining experience.

SKILLS

  • Experience in coffee preparation and cooking within a quick service or fast food restaurant setting.
  • Proficiency in cash handling and operating POS systems (Aloha POS, Micros POS).
  • Strong background in coffee.
  • Strong background in customer service with a focus on hospitality management.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
  • Experience in kitchen management or supervising staff in a food service environment.
  • Ability to train and develop team members effectively.
  • Familiarity with budgeting and inventory control processes.
  • Previous experience in fine dining, casual dining, or banquet settings is preferred.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage shifts efficiently.

  • Assist in drink preparation and brewing, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
  • Assist in machine maintenance, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
  • Operate POS systems, for efficient cash handling and order processing.
  • Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels and assisting with ordering supplies as needed.
  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting patrons, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe area, adhering to food safety standards.
  • Train new staff members on cafe procedures, including food handling and customer service protocols.
  • Support management in supervising daily operations and ensuring compliance with health regulations.
  • Assist in shift management to ensure adequate staffing levels during peak hours.
