JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a passionate, energetic, and creative Barista Supervisor to join our team! In this role, you’ll not only craft high-quality beverages and deliver outstanding customer service, but also take on leadership responsibilities to support daily café operations. You will play a key role in supervising staff, managing our point-of-sale system, overseeing social media content, and developing seasonal drink specials. REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous barista experience required; supervisory or shift lead experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong cash handling skills and proficiency with POS systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
  • Creativity in beverage development and an interest in seasonal menu innovation.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and basic content creation.
  • Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high service standards.
  • Knowledge of barista techniques and food handling safety practices.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods and perform tasks requiring physical stamina.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, tea, and specialty beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
  • Operate and maintain coffee brewing equipment, ensuring a clean and organized workspace.
  • Supervise and support café staff during shifts, providing guidance, direction, and feedback as needed.
  • Manage the point-of-sale (POS) system, troubleshoot issues, and ensure accurate transaction processing.
  • Handle cash transactions and maintain balanced cash drawers.
  • Oversee social media accounts, including creating posts, engaging with followers, and promoting specials and events.
  • Develop and test seasonal drink creations in collaboration with the café team.
  • Assist with food preparation, ensuring all items meet safety and quality standards.
  • Maintain inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies; assist with ordering and stock rotation.
  • Adhere to food handling guidelines to ensure product safety.
  • Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during peak hours while maintaining quality.
