We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team at Take Ur Seat Lite Redlands located inside Redlands Public Market. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while expertly preparing and serving a variety of coffee and food items. Your exceptional customer service skills will ensure that each guest has a memorable experience, making our café their go-to destination.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience in a coffee shop or food service environment is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to create positive interactions with guests.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
• Familiarity with coffee preparation techniques is a plus; training will be provided for specific methods used in our store.
• Ability to operate POS systems; experience with Go Tab POS is an advantage.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• A passion for coffee and food preparation, along with a willingness to learn new skills related to the role.

  Pay: $16.50 per hour
  Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week

• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages, teas, and other menu items following established recipes and standards.
• Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Operate the POS system for order processing and cash handling efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store, including the preparation area, dining space, and equipment.
• Assist in food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring all items meet health and safety regulations.
• Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during peak hours while maintaining quality standards.
• Promote sales through effective communication of menu offerings and specials to customers.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment and support each other in daily tasks.
